Community Christmas Tree Project

This year we are inviting everyone in the community to take part in a Community Christmas Tree Project. Any local businesses, clubs, societies, charities, school classes, families and individuals are invited to contribute elegant, quirky or entertainingly decorated trees which transform Meldrum Church and Meldrum Hall into a Christmas wonderland.

Fish and Chip Vests

I want to give a big ‘Thank you’ to all the ladies who so generously knitted ‘fish and chip vests’, blankets, hats, mitts, jumpers and cardigans for sending to Malawi. An amazing 358 items were handed in and will be leaving from Dundee in the next few months.
If you would like to help or to receive a copy of the quick and easy pattern for the vests and hats please phone Sheila on 01651 871957.

Aberddeenshire Foodbank

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
